About Me

Hello! My name is Chris Mollins, and I am a PEI based landscape painter. I have been creating art since an early age and started to paint regularly with acrylic paints from the age of 17. I have diplomas for both Fundamental Arts and Graphic Design from Holland College. I have participated in the Downtown Charlottetown Farmers Market and I have also had my art in galleries such as Ellen’s Creek Gallery and Framing, Blank Canvas Art Supplies, Kensington Art Gallery, the Startup Zone, and also the Granville Street Diner in Summerside. In 2021, I participated in the HIVE Program through Creative PEI, which allowed me to expand my business and expertise even further. As far as the art I produce, I create mostly acrylic on canvas paintings and prints of impressionistic Prince Edward Island themed landscapes, although as of recent, I am also exploring other mediums such as digital art, collage work, and ink and paper. Regardless of the chosen medium, I always ensure that each of my paintings has harmony and that the colour palette or style is fitting for the subject matter. I also sell reproductions of my artwork, as well as occasionally selling hand painted bookmarks.
